Bathroom remodeling

Remediate Renovation remodels bathrooms in the San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas–Fort Worth, tub-to-shower conversions included, and a person answers 24/7. A high-end new bathroom because you want one, or the room rebuilt after a leak under the tub. Either way, one call from the tear-out to the last tile.

Two ways in

A leak you can't see, or a room you've outgrown.

Water got in

A slow leak under the tub, a cracked shower pan, a toilet seal. The water goes into the subfloor and the wall long before it shows. That gets found and dried first.

It no longer fits

Dated tile, a tub you never use, no room at the vanity. Nothing is wrong; you just want a better bathroom.

What you get back

A finished bathroom on a dry, sound structure: new shower or tub, tile, vanity and fixtures, in the materials you choose.

Who you deal with

Us, from the first moisture reading to the last fixture. One call, one file.

What the work covers

What does a bathroom remodel include?

How it goes

How a bathroom remodel goes, in four steps

  1. Consultation

We come and see the bathroom. On a damage job, moisture readings come first, before anything else is decided.

  2. Design

What stays, what goes, and what goes in: shower or tub, tile, vanity, fixtures.

  3. Planning

Materials chosen, containment set, and on a claim, the documentation ready for the adjuster.

  4. Construction

Tear-out behind plastic, drying where needed, then the build.

The first consultation and quote are free.

Materials

Bathroom finishes: simple to high-end, your choice

Tile and stoneFloors, walls and the shower, from simple to luxury.
Vanity and counterThe cabinet, the top and the sink you pick.
FixturesShower, faucets and lighting, set in at the end.

The materials are yours to choose; we build with them.

Cost and planning

What sets the price and timing of a bathroom remodel?

What moves the price

How much comes out, whether the layout moves, and the tile, stone and fixtures you choose.

When it can start

On a damage job, the build starts when the readings say the structure is dry, not on a calendar date.

With a claim

Coverage is between you and your policy. We document the loss for the claim: photos, moisture readings, and line-item estimates in the industry's standard estimating format.

The first consultation and quote are free. Our work comes with a written warranty, its terms set in your contract, and financing is available through our lending partner.

Questions

What people ask about bathroom remodels

Do you remodel bathrooms that were never damaged?

Yes. A bathroom you simply want changed is a remodel we take on its own, no claim and no damage needed.

A leak under the tub or shower: can you fix the damage and redo the bathroom?

Yes, in that order. We find where the water went with moisture readings, take out what is wet, dry the structure until the readings say dry, and then rebuild the bathroom. One call covers all of it, and we document the loss for the claim.

What does a bathroom remodel with you include?

Tear-out behind containment, the new shower or tub area, tile on floors and walls, the vanity and counter, and fixtures set in. On damage jobs, the drying and the claim documentation come first.

How do you price a bathroom remodel?

After a visit, never from a price list. The quote follows how much comes out, what goes in, and the tile, stone and fixtures you choose.

Who does the work?

We do, and you deal with us from the first visit to the end. We are insured.

If there is mold behind the tile, what happens to it?

It comes out. Everything the mold touched is replaced with new material, never cleaned and reused, and the structure is dried before anything is closed up again. More on the mold remediation page.

Can I see bathrooms you have done?

Bathrooms appear in the portfolio as soon as an owner clears one for the site. Until then, the Fremont job shows how we work, stage by stage.
