Whole-home remodeling
Every room under one plan: new floors through the house, a new kitchen and bathrooms, the layout opened up. The whole house, made high-end, by one team.
- Insured
- Built through our licensed construction partner
- One plan, one team, every room
Why the whole house
One room at a time never quite matches.
Done piece by piece
A new kitchen next to an old floor, a new bathroom down a dated hall. Separate jobs, years apart, rarely look like one house.
After a big loss
When water, fire or mold has opened much of the house, the rebuild can be the moment to change all of it.
What you get back
A house that reads as one: floors that run through, rooms that match, a layout that fits how you live now.
Who you deal with
Us, for every room, from the first walk-through to the last fixture. One call, one file.
What the work covers
What a whole-home remodel includes
Floors through the house
One floor running room to room, with borders and transitions planned.
Kitchen
Cabinets, counters, backsplash and appliances, as on the kitchen page.
Bathrooms
Showers or tubs, tile, vanities and fixtures, as on the bathroom page.
Layout changes
Walls moved or opened to join rooms, planned before the finishes.
Insurance documentation on loss rebuilds
Photos, moisture readings, and line-item estimates in the industry's standard estimating format.
Real jobs
Whole homes, once they are cleared
We only show jobs whose owners have cleared them for the site. The Fremont job, a floor and kitchen redone after water damage, shows how we work across rooms.
How it goes
One plan, in phases
Walk-through
Every room, what stays, what changes, and how you need to live in the house meanwhile.
Plan
The layout, the materials, and the order of rooms, set before anything is torn out.
Phases
Rooms closed off behind containment one group at a time, the rest of the house in use.
Finish
Floors, kitchen and baths finished to match, through our licensed construction partner.
Finishes
One look through every room
The finishes are yours to choose; we build with them. [TODO: add the materials from the first cleared whole-home job]
Before and after
The same house, start and finish
A real before and after goes here, never a stock picture. Meanwhile the Fremont kitchen, torn out and finished, is on the kitchen remodeling page.
Cost and planning
What sets the price and the timing
Rooms and layout
How many rooms are included, and whether walls move or stay where they are.
Phases
Living at home while it is done means more, smaller phases; an empty house can be done in fewer.
With a claim
Coverage is between you and your policy. What the claim covers is documented in the industry's standard estimating format; anything beyond it is quoted on its own.

Questions
What people ask about whole-home remodels
What counts as a whole-home remodel?
More than one room, done under one plan: usually the floors through the house, the kitchen, the bathrooms, and sometimes walls moved to change the layout.
Can we live in the house during the remodel?
Often yes, if the work goes in phases: the rooms being worked on are closed off behind containment while the rest of the house stays in use. When the kitchen and the only bathroom are both open at once, a short stay elsewhere is easier. We plan it with you before the work starts.
After a big loss, can the rebuild become a whole-home remodel?
Yes. When much of the house is open anyway after water, fire or mold, some owners use the rebuild to change what they never liked. The claim covers what the policy covers; anything beyond it is your choice and is quoted separately.
In what order do the rooms get done?
Whatever has to stay usable longest goes last, and work that touches the whole house, like floors and walls being moved, is planned before the finishes.
How is a whole-home remodel priced?
After a visit, never from a price list. The quote follows the rooms included, whether the layout changes, and the materials and finishes you choose.
Who does the work, and are they licensed?
Whole-home remodeling is performed through our licensed construction partner. We are insured, and you deal with us from the first visit to the end.
Can I see whole homes you have done?
Jobs appear in the portfolio as soon as an owner clears one for the site. The Fremont job, a floor and kitchen redone after water damage, shows each stage.
