Bathroom remodeling
A high-end new bathroom because you want one, or the room rebuilt after a leak under the tub. Either way, one call from the tear-out to the last tile.
- Insured
- One call from the leak to the finished room
- Built through our licensed construction partner
Two ways in
A leak you can't see, or a room you've outgrown.
Water got in
A slow leak under the tub, a cracked shower pan, a toilet seal. The water goes into the subfloor and the wall long before it shows. That gets found and dried first.
It no longer fits
Dated tile, a tub you never use, no room at the vanity. Nothing is wrong; you just want a better bathroom.
What you get back
A finished bathroom on a dry, sound structure: new shower or tub, tile, vanity and fixtures, in the materials you choose.
Who you deal with
Us, from the first moisture reading to the last fixture. One call, one file.
What the work covers
What a bathroom remodel includes
Tear-out behind containment
Plastic walls keep the dust and the work inside the bathroom.
Shower or tub area
A new shower, a new tub, or one swapped for the other.
Tile on floors and walls
Laid on a dry, flat base, in the tile or stone you pick.
Vanity, counter and fixtures
Set in and connected once the room is finished around them.
Insurance documentation on damage rebuilds
Photos, moisture readings, and line-item estimates in the industry's standard estimating format.
Real jobs
Bathrooms, once they are cleared
We only show jobs whose owners have cleared them for the site. Until a bathroom is cleared, the Fremont job shows how we work, stage by stage.
How it goes
Four steps, in this order
Consultation
We come and see the bathroom. On a damage job, moisture readings come first, before anything else is decided.
Design
What stays, what goes, and what goes in: shower or tub, tile, vanity, fixtures.
Planning
Materials chosen, containment set, and on a claim, the documentation ready for the adjuster.
Construction
Tear-out behind plastic, drying where needed, then the build, through our licensed construction partner.
Materials
You choose the finish
The materials are yours to choose; we build with them. [TODO: add the materials from the first cleared bathroom job, as on the kitchen page]
Before and after
A real before and after
The Fremont kitchen, torn out and finished, is on the kitchen remodeling page. A bathroom comparison goes here once one is cleared.
Cost and planning
What sets the price and the timing
What moves the price
How much comes out, whether the layout moves, and the tile, stone and fixtures you choose.
When it can start
On a damage job, the build starts when the readings say the structure is dry, not on a calendar date.
With a claim
Coverage is between you and your policy. We document the loss for the claim: photos, moisture readings, and line-item estimates in the industry's standard estimating format.

Questions
What people ask about bathroom remodels
Do you remodel bathrooms that were never damaged?
Yes. A bathroom you simply want changed is a remodel we take on its own, no claim and no damage needed.
A leak under the tub or shower: can you fix the damage and redo the bathroom?
Yes, in that order. We find where the water went with moisture readings, take out what is wet, dry the structure until the readings say dry, and then rebuild the bathroom. One call covers all of it, and we document the loss for the claim.
What does a bathroom remodel with you include?
Tear-out behind containment, the new shower or tub area, tile on floors and walls, the vanity and counter, and fixtures set in. On damage jobs, the drying and the claim documentation come first.
How do you price a bathroom remodel?
After a visit, never from a price list. The quote follows how much comes out, what goes in, and the tile, stone and fixtures you choose.
Who does the work, and are they licensed?
Bathroom remodeling is performed through our licensed construction partner. We are insured, and you deal with us from the first visit to the end.
If there is mold behind the tile, what happens to it?
It comes out. Everything the mold touched is replaced with new material, never cleaned and reused, and the structure is dried before anything is closed up again. More on the mold remediation page.
Can I see bathrooms you have done?
Bathrooms appear in the portfolio as soon as an owner clears one for the site. Until then, the Fremont job shows how we work, stage by stage.
